Vettes on the Net was in
Austin, TX for the "hotter than hell" Austin
Corvette Day's. Temperatures exceed 103 degrees; but, that didn't keep local corvette
enthusiasts from attending Texas' largest corvette event; sponsored by Covert Chevorlet.
Over 300 corvette enter this year event an increase of 50 corvettes from last year.

Congratulations to Longhorn Corvette Club for hosting the 4th Annual
Austin Corvette Day's. A lot of hard work went into the show; namely by Bob Vehon, and
Diemer Fife; who handled th auction benefiting Make-A-Wish. An estimated 10,000 people
attended this years event.

Corvettes of all classes competed. C4 and C5 were the largest class; however, there
were several early model corvettes; as well as Calaways, and modifieds. If, you couldn't
make it to this years event; well...we hope to see you next year; same place....Rudy's!
