Vettes on the Net was in Austin, TX for the "hotter than hell" Austin Corvette Day's. Temperatures exceed 103 degrees; but, that didn't keep local corvette enthusiasts from attending Texas' largest corvette event; sponsored by Covert Chevorlet. Over 300 corvette enter this year event an increase of 50 corvettes from last year.

Our friends at rudys.jpg (7544 bytes) were the sponsoring patrons; located on Hwy. 281 in north Austin, TX.

Congratulations to Longhorn Corvette Club for hosting the 4th Annual Austin Corvette Day's. A lot of hard work went into the show; namely by Bob Vehon, and Diemer Fife; who handled th auction benefiting Make-A-Wish. An estimated 10,000 people attended this years event.

Corvettes of all classes competed. C4 and C5 were the largest class; however, there were several early model corvettes; as well as Calaways, and modifieds. If, you couldn't make it to this years event; well...we hope to see you next year; same place....Rudy's!
